Who are We

SEND, standing for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, is a coffee company delivering real impact through our charity & social enterprise model. We work with young people aged 18-25 with special needs and disabilities, training them up to be baristas in a competitive market.

Curators Coffee is a fast-paced coffee shop, with a small team of talented staff who support the SEND coffee project. The mentors are responsible for the learners, so your role at the shop would be that of a barista. You will, however, be working alongside the learners and mentors, so an interest in the SEND project is essential.

Curators Coffee Studio was one of the first speciality coffee shops on the scene and we’re proud to retain our reputation as the best place for coffee in the area! We’re located in the City of London, on the edge of Leadenhall Market. Although our customers are primarily office workers from nearby blocks, a lot of them come to us every day, which creates more of a community feeling.

We currently have a La Marzocco Linea PB (gravimetric), 2 Mythos One grinders for espresso and an EK43 for batch brew, which we make using a Bunn machine.
