Our core mission is to be ‘better than the high street’ We’re now looking for a Senior Barista to join one of our flagship City-based sites — a fast-paced, high-volume café designed for speed, service, and serious coffee.
The Role:- As Senior Barista, you’ll lead by example behind the bar, maintaining high standards in both coffee and customer service. You’ll work closely with the Café Manager to support smooth daily operations, mentor junior staff, and help manage peak service with precision.
Our setup features a La Marzocco Mod Bar, multiple grinders, and batch brew systems tailored for hospitality service. You’ll be dialled in from day one, working with quality beans and a supportive team that’s passionate about getting things right.
What You’ll Do:- Deliver consistent, high-quality coffee across espresso and filter service.
Dial in grinders and calibrate Mod Bar equipment daily.
Lead shifts, managing workflow and team coordination during peak times.
Train, mentor, and support new and junior baristas.
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and presentation.
Engage confidently with customers and build a welcoming bar presence.
Support inventory, ordering, and FOH operations as required.
About You:- Minimum 3 years’ experience in specialty coffee plus min 1 year supervisory experience.
Proven track record in a senior or supervisory barista role.
Confident using high-end equipment (Mod Bar/La Marzocco experience ideal).
Strong understanding of espresso theory, milk texturing, and brew methods.
Calm under pressure with great communication skills.
Reliable, professional, and quality-focused.
Passionate about coffee and hospitality.
What We Offer:- £31.1 -£33.0k per year (depending on experience)
Monday–Friday daytime hours : There may be the odd special event / evening session required.
