As a barista at August Bakery you’ll be an essential part of the FOH team, offering a warm welcome and great vibe while delivering consistently exceptional coffee. We’re offering a part time role of 3 days a week, with scope to increase to full time as we approach the Summer months.
We’re looking for our new member of the August Barista team to:
- Have excellent knowledge of and passion for coffee.
- Have experience working at pace during busy periods (eg. 400+ drinks a day on weekends with 1 additional barista to support).
- Drive to maintain high standards, organisation and cleanliness.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of coffee brewing methods and latte art.
- Have confidence dialling in according to taste as well as just recipe.
- Have strong and friendly customer service - should be motivated by delivering consistently exceptional drinks to the customer.
- Create strong connections with the community and recognise the ability to improve someone’s day through good hospitality and an excellent cup of coffee.
- Be a team player, and work well with the bakery team.
